Pelin Demirel

Pelin Demirel is a Lecturer in Industrial Economics at Nottingham University Business School (UK). She received her PhD in Economics from The Open University in 2008. Her research interests include the empirical investigation of the relationships between innovation, firm performance and industry structure. Her recent applied work looks at the innovation and firm growth dynamics in the pharmaceutical with a focus on the inter-firm differences such as size, location and innovative characteristics.
