Jocelyn Probert is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Business Research at the University of Cambridge. Prior to receiving her PhD from Judge Business School, Cambridge she worked in the City of London and in Tokyo, and spent several years as a researcher at INSEAD’s Euro-Asia Centre in Fontainebleau, France. Her research interests include the impact of national institutional frameworks on firms’ innovation and production capabilities, the business models of high tech firms, and the funding of innovative businesses. Her most recent publication examined the use of customer-funded research contracts as a means of financing start-up firms’ development and growth.
